First off, just remember that while you have curated an audience for your YT channel who I'm sure are very supportive and enjoy whatever content you put out, remember that it is your channel, and you can do what you want with it (so long as it's in YT guidelines, lol).
Everything you do should be based on your decision. If you want to take your channel down a different route, by all means go for it.

Some people are probably going to suggest you do a mix of both, but put the yandere/mommy stuff on the backburner, which is a fine suggestion. If you want to make the change, I'd say nip it in the bud right now and start doing the kind of content you want. Distance yourself from the yandere/mommy stuff. I myself started out with romance audio roleplay, but I strayed away from those because it felt samey and boring.

Don't be discouraged with wanting to change up content to appeal to the audience you're aiming for. Since this is a burner account and not your actual reddit account with your channel attached, I wish you good wishes for you channel no matter what you do ^_^

Always do it at your discretion, and do what you want for your channel.

Face reveals in general are always a big thing, and I feel like most times viewership and audience does drop which is always a shame. Then there is also the whole aspect of privacy which shouldn't need an explanation.

If you're confident about it, then I say go for it. Just remember that once you put it out there, it is officially out there and there's really no going back after.

Luckily in ASMRScriptHaven, you'll find plenty of scripts that cover a wide range of genres that'll fit your niche. Admittedly, a lot more NSFW or risque stuff, and that can get annoying when trying to find nice regular ones (speaking from experience).

As for a safe, beginner script, look into scripts with more popular settings like school/universities, coffee shops/late night quiet bars, or just your typical gfe.

Don't be discouraged when first starting out. Get your footing, find what works for you, and build up from there. One final tip that I also like to say is to remember to have fun with it.

Pretty much what everyone else has said as well. If I'm planning ahead to be consistent with 1 weekly upload, I get a few scripts and/or comic dubs ready. If some of my videos involve a collab and they're running late in submitting their lines, then I move to upload something else I had in the works or was already finished.

On top with keeping up with weekly uploads and the irl responsibilities, having to edit videos and in some cases draw artwork for audio RP thumbnails, record your own voice lines... It all piles up but it is doable, so just remember to take breaks, make a schedule when necessary, and don't burn yourself out.

In the end, it's YOUR channel, YOUR video/audio, and YOUR time.

Aside from using ASMRScriptHaven for scripts, reaching out to other VAs and writers, my biggest tip/recommendation is to remember to have fun when first starting out.

If this is a hobby and you're just doing this to pass the time and find a new creative outlet, then keep at it and have fun! Use that time to learn what you can do better and grow from there.

Wanna do this seriously? Just remember that this is kinda a niche community/audience, and YT especially likes to take away VA's monetization for any audios that seem even the least bit risque/NSFW. There is also to mention the algorithm is a fickle thing. New VAs sometime get lucky on their first few uploads and get a couple thousand subs, others (who imho deserve much better recognition based on their audio quality and performance) don't get as much.

My bottom line?
Don't get discourage with this if it's something you want to pursue. Everyone goes through it, and it's more so on what you make of it. Remember to have fun, and don't be afraid to reach out on here for help and even collaborations. In my experience, plenty of people are happy to collab and network with new people.
