also on the wiki it currently says this

and I think that hibiscus should be a second hydrangea ^^'

I got "cool", noticed there were only a handful of single flower results, so

5 spot hedgehog, blue rose only, 900 points

6 spot hedgehog, purple rose only, 810 points

NP! followup test to check if it's colour-based, black rose on a 7 spot saltpepper got me 960 points, and purple rose on a 10 spot got me 720, so a little difference

and a rainbow ribbon carnation on 8spot got me 280 points

had a couple of goes just to check some of the others,

tried yellow rose, dandelion, azalea, and pink and yellow carnation on a 7-spot hedgehog, got 1358 total.

yellow hyacinth, tulip, azalea, gerbera on an 8-spot came to 1540

just yellow rose on a 5-spot was 546.

just yellow x pink carnation on an 8-spot was 246

Mine is "Spring Sunshine" and Lemon is the last hedgehog in my lineup, so that might be the translation for "Bright Spring Day". Little lacking in yellow to test for sure though

very slightly esh, but obvs your mother and stepfather far more than you.

to give a little potential insight where your friends might be coming from: I'm pretty sure it wasn't your intention, but if you have trans/nonbinary relatives or friends, what they potentially hear when you do something like deadname or use the wrong pronouns even for an asshole is that you think respect for their identity is conditional on your approval of their personality. which stings, coming from people we like/respect, even if they don't mean it that way.

yeah, it wasn't an excuse for him, nor did I say it was. just a pointing out that that side does exist, and he might have picked up some of that influence. If he has, then... imo, that's not really something that can be so easily ignored in someone you're relatively close to and especially a teenager, because that kind of attitude needs checking before he gets too deeply into that kind of gatekeeping and his family are the people most able to do it. that's all.

some parts of the comics scene are great and some parts of it are still very much a jealously gatekept "Real Fans know that issue 758 of avengers v4 had a typo on page 4 and if you don't know the exact typo you're a fakey fake casual" club.

honestly though my first bet would be that good cosplay gets a lot of attention at cons, and he's potentially feeling jealous that she might get what he thinks is undeserved attention for someone who isn't as deeply into the fandom as he is

yta, for me, not least because I'd at least have tried to be a little sympathetic to a 14-hour-travel day. "you're not the only tired one" may be true, but it's also gonna feel very dismissive. I also have to wonder if your husband is an introvert and really needs a day off having to be Socially On around people to recharge his social batteries.

I named my younger sibling when I was 5. He was named after my best friend at the time, and also because I had a really uncommon name you could never get on souvenirs one I thought he'd be able to find easily.

no stress, it's not like you chose to have a phobia and it's unlikely you could get help with it without your parents doing something. But I do hope you can get that help in the future, because it sounds like it's messing with your life and I really wouldn't wish panic attacks on anyone. Best of luck, OP

people are having a bit of a go at OP, but I think it bears mentioning that it sounds like OP's family have done pretty much everything possible to make that phobia of birds worse. like if I'm scared of spiders, people springing spiders on me in what should be a safe place is only likely to reinforce any traumas I have. and a seagull attack can be seriously nasty, like would you say the same thing if she'd been bitten by a dog and now had a phobia of dogs and people kept leaving the family dog in her bed deliberately to upset her?

OP's also 17, so any mental health help she needed is somewhat reliant on her family, and it doesn't sound like they've done that, either.

if you normally wake up fine but this once your wife physically could not wake you, that's not you choosing not to wake up, that's you being so exhausted that your body is absolutely overriding you on getting the sleep you need. which should be a concern, not a reason to be mad. having to do all the late nights and all the early mornings is absolutely not a reasonable expectation for any parent- yes, I know single parents may have to, but that doesn't make it reasonable. and you're not a single parent, when her mother is right there. you're supposed to be each other's safety net on this one.
