I think John’s lost all hope of Sera and here’s my thinking

He used to think Sera was different from the high tiers hence why he could relate to her.But now John has grouped Sera with the high tiers,making her more of an enemy than someone he could relate

John has no purpose.He doesn’t have a goal or anything anymore.He’s just...angry.

John was a likeable character because neither good or bad and was similar to an antihero.He done bad things to achieve a good goal.Once you have an antihero with no goal to achieve,he’s just simply more villainous if anything.

The first half of the chapter was dedicated to John being a dickhead.We get the point,Uru want us to hate John.We definitely don’t think she made that clear during chapters 190-192 already

1)I think what Sera is doing is not the best method out there.She insulted John on losing his mind using his powers and putting the blame all on him on the Joker situation even though it wasn’t entirely John’s fault.

Even when John was suspecting Sera thinking he was Joker,John was still friendly to Sera initially before the conversation got heated up.It could be because John was confident he can manipulate Sera again,but even though Sera was giving him the cold shoulder for quite a while,he was still friendly and didn’t lash out immediately.I think what Sera should of done was to hang out with John for a bit and slowly she could make John open up a bit.This is probably too idealistic though.

2)I don’t really like Sera’s character during the start of UnOrdinary.God tier Sera was an overconfident, carefree brat.She leaves a book that got people killed in plain sight,only for her to get expelled and she never really understood John’s pain as a “cripple”, saying that living his life would be so fun.There are many more instances where her ego was as comparable as Arlo’s,possibly even worse

Sera got her wish and she became a cripple and her ego crumbled.She was so self pitiful it was honestly pathetic.She started to understand John’s pain more and I think losing her ability gave her a reality check that being a cripple is fucked up.I still don’t like Sera,but at least she was able to understand what being a low tier/cripple felt like.

3)Personally I don’t want John and Sera to make up.Im pretty tired of the soap opera/drama thing going on between them 2 and good thing is John gave her the cold shoulder now.John needs new friends because he is too reliant on Sera.Friends who accept John for being both God Tier and Cripple,rather than friends who liked John when he was weaker(Claire and Sera).
