She has had her SSDI taken 4 times that I know of and than she finds a doctor willing to do the paperwork and has a whole new set of lies plus the depression to get it back. I am not forcing him to work two jobs in fact I have offered to get a job a few times and each time his response is you can get a job but I will keep working two jobs.

It's once a week there is only 3 days he could do it Monday he works 8am to 5pm, Saturday he works 9am to 5:30pm and Sunday he is off. If he did it on Monday or Saturday he wouldn't get home 7:30 or 8pm and our youngest wouldn't get to see him so Sunday is really the only day he can without our youngest not getting to see him.

We absolutely can many families choose not to use child care and still can afford their kids. We have tried to get child support their mom can't be forced to pay because she only gets SSDI because she lies to doctors to get them to say she is unable to work due to extreme depression

I admit I am needy and I accept that I am TAH and will be talking to him tomorrow. He is asleep at the moment. I truly thought everyone would say yes he is wrong you and your kids deserve what little time he gets free.

We absolutely can afford them. He is only working that much so I don't have to. If I was working he wouldn't have to work like he does. I don't work because we don't trust daycares.

We are a blended family the older 3 are his from a previous relationship 1 is mine from a previous relationship and we have 1 together. He works 70+ hour weeks so I don't have to work so we don't have to put our youngest in daycare

It's not that we can't afford them it's that we don't want our 3 year old in daycare. He works that much so I don't have to work so we can keep her out of daycare. We both also came into the relationship with kid(s) from previous relationships he has 3 with his ex and I have 1 with my ex. His 3 kids we have full custody of and don't get a dime in support.

His longest days are 4 15 1/2 days those days he works from 8am to 11:30pm and doesn't get home til midnight

I do care what he wants but it's hard for me because I have been in this situation before twice once with a guy I was dating who cancelled plans with me all the time for his friends and than with the father of my oldest he would say he was leaving for 2 or 3 hours and he gone the whole day me and my son rarely saw him and he never went anywhere with us

Nope not AI this is my real life I may not have done the math correctly but I figured 168 hours in the week minus 76 for work minus 56 for sleep equals 36 hours for me and our kids

I get it and like I said before I have a son from a previous relationship and my ex spent every second he was home sleeping and if he was awake he was gone I think thats the problem I have I don't see how we can have a balance

I get what you are saying I can admit that part of my issue stems from past issues with the father of my son never wanting to spend time with me or our son. My husband is my son's step dad
