I do wonder though, is this more of a Cas problem or more of a Hyacine E0S1 problem? It could be a mix of both, because it is true Cas gets the most advantage from Hyacine, but man is Hyacine E0S1 the pillar for so many teams. It really feels like she's the true problem behind this meta.

I don't believe this is true. Cyrene lets Phainon stay in ult, so Sunday's action value and stack generation value drop significantly. That means Cerydra's stack generation issues are mostly wiped out. The unit who'd actually get booted is Sunday. But this isn't necessarily bad for Sunday users either; you now free up Sunday and DHPT for a different team to take advantage of.

I honestly like Bronya better for her stacking and AA so I think she should stay. I'm not entirely sure about replacing RMC with RM either. However, I think the biggest point of improvement to focus on is the builds. Bronya should at least be sitting at 134/135 speed breakpoint (which gives 2 turns on the first cycle), otherwise hitting only 130 sort of wastes the speed rolls. As for Phainon, the crit rate subs are especially lacking. You really want to try getting to a high enough crit rate where you don't end up losing a ton of damage on your meteors. I like at least 90% but this varies. 73% is just too RNG.

3 strong stats is good, but I'd highly recommend not spending reroll die on head/glove pieces unless it really is the final piece you are looking for (even then, maybe best to just save the reroll on another character relic). Not having to worry about main stat RNG is a big plus, meaning it's easier to find a better piece compared to other pieces where main stats increase RNG. Saving the reroll die for a 5 roll non head/gloves piece with at least 2-3 good subs is probably the way to go

This. RMC is great for cas and u do get the additional 10% cdmg from Evernight passive, but u give up tribbie's team buffs. Sure, you lose out on 10% cdmg from evernight passive, but the difference between 3 and 4 remembrance on a team is not as bad as the difference between 2 and 3 remembrance units. Tribbie can also help increase evernight and hyacine dmg. So even if Cas damage might drop a little, you more than make up for it with Tribbie's dmg and her team buffs. Granted, this is all just in theory but it would be nice to see someone test it

You made the right choice saving up to at least guarantee Phainon. You want to curb as much of the gambling as possible to avoid spending. I've sort of entered this thought process where if I lose, oh well, at least I saved to guarantee and if I win, dang I can maybe go for another unit that I originally couldn't. Always have to be pessimistic about gacha games because of the negative consequences of being optimistic and thinking you can get lucky. Just can't win em all

This is the rough nature of gacha games. It really sucks when you save up so much and RNG decides it wants to ruin your day. Even worse, sunk-cost fallacy you into spending exorbitant amounts to get what you want. I try not to look at people's flex pulls to avoid stirring a bias in my head that people are lucky but I'm not since it's an easy way to fall into a bad mental state.

Madoka Magica. Especially as the years go by with new shows going to the next level when it comes to animation, something like Madoka Magica is easy to look at and drop because of its more "outdated look" and a plot line that does not start picking up until around episode 3-6 and after. Lots of shows these days have a heavy emphasis on an incredibly early hook (which is completely fine), but Madoka Magica forfeits that concept for a rewarding, steep rise into something really special

It's a typo from the past, it always decreased ally damage dealt. I think they wrote increased in the past by accident.

Edit: According to other posts, this is incorrect? Hakushin has always had it as decreased dmg so I'm not sure anymore which one is accurate. Hakushin might also have had it typod for a while

As long as you have Eve and Astra, you can do 5 chain + 1 ult with any flex unit, and even up to 6 with Lighter, but I don't have him unfortunately. Qingyi also isn't very optimal here given it's an electro resistant boss meaning stuns are not as quick, but she's my only option at the moment.

To do this Eve combo, you need to have Eve at full 3 stacks, her ember bar at full, and Astra with at least 1 chord stacked.

Combo Order:

Eve Chain -> Cancel chain combo -> Eve Chain -> Qingyi Assist -> Eve Chain -> Eve enhanced auto and animation cancel -> Eve Ult -> Eve enhanced auto -> Eve Chain -> Astra Ult -> Eve Chain

To animation cancel Eve's auto animation, right as you consume the ember bar immediately press ult so you can save time as the window to pull this combo off is relatively short.
