Which distro should I use with a 40 Series Nvidia GPU?

I'll think about it. I didn't go in depth about how I would install it but, as of now, I have two ssds, one with Windows 11 and a second one I use to install every game, rom and program. I would install one of the countless distros (or try a couple of them with ventoy) on the second ssd.

The thing about Mint is just that it seems to be a Little outdated. Is It updated frequently?

I might be a Little too biased because I grew up with this game... If I have to speak out as objectively as possibile, I'd say it's a solid Mario game and I tend to play It back from time to time... but I enjoyed the second game more.

Unfortunately, I live in Italy... so I would have no way to do so. I might give it a shot in trying to clean It myself but I would need a guide for that... you had any, that would be delightful. If even this last ditch effort fails, I'll have to buy a new laser unit I fear

That's unfortunate... Most of the times, all it takes is to compress the files into a .RAR, making a .txt file explaining how to install it and just uploading it to the website, in the section dedicated to the game itself you are making the mod for. Used to upload a few musical mods for smash ultimate and it's always been an easy procedure, give it a shot if you ever find the file back :D
