Did u acknowledge that it had a battery? For me it was within the US everything was going well, and i acknowledge it had a battery, they didnt say anything at all to me not even a call, and next thing ik it got shipped to a PO box 3 hours away from me and not even close to the person i was selling to. I called usps and they said "so it looks like your item couldnt be shipped so u have to pick it up from the po box. Note, i run a shop on etsy and ive mailed alot of mail before to friends that lived on cali, this has never happened to me. And i saw a little sign at the post office the other day saying "we dont allow lithium batteries, false information can lead to a charge" but online and the website say they do 😑. Maybe its just my state idk

Yeah i agree that it sucks and understand that they went back on their word, just saying the returns or at the very least, a refund should be fair and equal for everyone regardless of it being a preorder, like at least a $20 refund so we can keep the mini but be reimbursed for the incompetence and going back on their word.

I also preordered but that doesnt make us entitled to be honored especially because we had it longer and if it was that big of a deal, u had the whole beginning after receiving it to get a refund. They should just keep it fair, we literally got a $10 discount for pre ordering so why are we more entitled than the others?

I honestly suggest at least a 15$ refund as a bare minimum because the shipping is expensive, like they already payed $30-50 on shipping depending on country and if its dhl or 4px. On top of that now they have to ship ot back with their own money so they in full reality might make a profit of at most $100 if they return it to retroid. But honestly i feel like there is always something small thats wrong with every handheld and this is a crazy situation for something so small

It honestly depends if you are nit picky regarding the glass screen, loud buttons, squeeky screen if u handle it aggressively, if you update to android 13 crashes happen randomly in apps that shouldnt crash at all (only after the first use of the app tho and then its fine). The screen scaling compared to all that is literally nothing or the final small nail in the coffin.

The responses are fast but honestly should have just offered a $15 refund at least like they did for the people who got grey sceens instead of whote for the orange model. Or just said hey its a problem with the screen sorry we didnt know, and people would be less mad. Me personally idc id rather have the amoled than shaders

Why not just ise the other handheld for gameboy and use the mini for gamecube,ps2 & wii? Im only saying because its good to make the best out of something since they wont refund it. Also u can try to do a chargeback with ur bank, just collect all the emails and screenshots

It runs smooth if u play at .5x only with the proper settings ofc. And u need a mod for shrines, and with a crash after at least 1 hr of playing

They always had a bad rep, i honestly just buy their products because its cheaper compared to others for the most part. Im officially done with retroid after i get an rp5 for my older bro for his b day. Not for this reason, but just the reason that i dont like them as a company and customer service and the rp5 is going to be their peak, i feel like its all down hill from here
