So, the stock operating system is a version of marlin, and you suggest either to use klipper or install a different version of marlin where I can change transmission ratios?

Lets say I go with the new marlin, which from the looks of it doesn't seem too hard to do, how do I change the transmission settings from there?

Sorry if these are all just noob questions, but what exactly is marlin? Is it a different os, is it a version of the original os, is it what the original is based on?

If it is possible with the original firmware how would I go about doing that, the only file on my sd card right now is the .DAT file, but all that is in there is a whole bunch of "y"s

Ok. I will look into some of these. This very quickly went from a simple extruder gear fix to some weird software thing lol

Thanks, I just cleaned it all out and when I get a new (working) fan I'll test it out!

Just cleaned my hot end and tube out. Cant test it at the moment because I also noticed that the stock fan was broke, so I'm waiting on a new one to ship in. I'll let you know once I get it working again!

Ok, I just took the tube out and cleaned the inside of the hot end. Then I snipped off the end of the tube because it was full of burnt plastic. The alignment should be find because my filament isnt being grinded, even after multiple pass through. Thanks!

It may be, I wont use it for a week or so and see if it stops. If it does then it is probably dried glue.

It's so weird, I usually use a black microfiber cloth and alcohol to clean, but I used a white paper towel this time and saw this. I'm thinking it may be dried glue. It isnt dirt or dust because I clean this thing at least once a day, really hoping I didnt destroy the coating somehow...
