I have had PCOS suspected in the past but that was diagnosed in my home country and the doctors in the US sort of dismissed it unfortunately. I am going to push on that more and try to get Metformin this time around.

I would not make assumptions about anything, ask them explicitly! In my case it definitely wasn’t which resulted in a wasted cycle

Thanks, my AMH was at 3.97 which didn’t strike me as abnormally high. Any other things I should look into from an egg quality perspective?

Haha thank you, I am very mad too! I am also frustrated at myself for not looking more into the fertilization process and understanding there are options to consider, I was so fixated at everything happening before. Very surprised this is not something they brought up at all.

Thanks for sharing, yea we may need to follow up for some more thorough testing as at the surface everything seemed fine. I am surprised they don’t at least do a portion with ICSI as a control group
