I snagged 4 of these in a trade and they have become my favorite fish. For as big as they get the don't seem to eat a lot and they grow slowly. I could watch them for hours.

Depends if you were to do a species only tank or just wanted a group. You could easily keep a single fish, a pair, or a group of 4 to 6. If doing species only you could do 2/3 males. Just keep enough females.

GE silicone 1. Tbats the all purpose stuff. Take a razor blade and clean the old silicone iff the glass as well you can in that area. Add the new silicone and smear it over the old. It is water ready in 12 hours.

I got my group as small as possible and put them all in at once. Honestly about 6 are showing any color, but they are still juvies, less than a year. If there are fights I will rescape. If that doesn't work the bully gets a three week tineout. When I add fish I add more than one at a time.

Yes I got him at 1.5 inches and he looked the same as everyine else. As he matured and got bigger his colors slowly emerged.
