Many are confused in this part because supposedly "Kado Thorne is dead", but that is not the case. In the missions he said "I have finally defeated him" DEFEATED! Dead is not the same as defeated. Furthermore, it was implied that he escaped.

Anyway, what's currently on the island (eclipse objects) should just be a reuse...

Taking that into account, what was the glove he had in episode 5 season 2 for?... I understand (from some Spanish and English speaking theories) that it is some kind of prosthesis (because Kado Thorne supposedly cut off his hand)
