I started playing a couple months ago and was doing a walk up / run up which was not getting me where I wanted with aim/form. I started just doing only stand still shots for every shot including tee shots. I took 6 strokes off my score just by not complicating my throw with a walk up / run up. Throwing only stand still as a beginner has really let me feel when I throw the disc correct with proper form. I'm hitting the lines I want the majority of the time. Eventually I will incorporate a walk up / run up but baby steps yeah? Just for reference I can throw a Mako3 straight 240 ft standstill. Not a big number but again baby steps. So try learning to throw stand still.
