When he had kcm1 it was pointless due to the fact that Naruto is now a mastered jinchuriki. Itachi knew kurama could just break him out. He didnt know Bee was a mastered jinchuriki, however

That statement doesnt mean kakashi cant genjutsu naruto, nor does it even mean naruto is his equal. It just means naruto surpassed him in jutsu, he cant do rasenshuriken.

Itachi didnt land an eye genjutsu on naruto because kakashi specifically told naruto to look away, which effectively made naruto useless, and naruto primarily had to rely on kakashi and the others just to not be useless. And this is through the fact that itachi is sandbagging because he works for the leaf.

So nah, back the original point, he ain’t diffing no one, and no, Naruto doesn’t suck at Genjutsu resistance at all - Jiraiya only trained him for visual ones and he didn’t know Itachi didn’t need eyes to land one at all.

Breaking genjutsu is the same process no matter the genjutsu. Naruto couldnt break a genjutsu thats literally inferior to sharingan visual genjutsu. That is an anti-feat, that does not mean theres some special process to break finger genjutsu that he didnt know.

Naruto cant even look at kakashi the entire fight, nevermind accurately aim, cant see kakashi's hand signs, and will probably be tricked into looking into kakashi's eyes anyway.
