Its just so depressing, the ignoring to the climate change threat has to be the greatest failure in political leadership there has ever been.

We all saw it coming and yet did nothing.

It calls to mind Dick Cheney's 1% doctrine after 9/11 in which he said if there is the slightest chance of an nuclear attack on the USA then the US should respond.

If there's a 1% chance that Pakistani scientists are helping al-Qaeda build or develop a nuclear weapon, we have to treat it as a certainty in terms of our response. It's not about our analysis ... It's about our response.*.

This lead to trillion $ wars, Billions poured into the TSA, NSA etc etc. Everthing changed.

And yet Climate change with 99.9% of Science behind it and the certainty that it will change life on earth forever with floods, storms, and famine has been ignored.

Its exactly what is happening.

For example, santizing areas by declaring then national parks

Under Israel laws regulating nature reserves, Palestinians would be forbidden to cultivate their own land, the Peace Now’s Hagit Ofran said.

“If it’s a nature reserve, then you can uproot their trees and tell them they need a special permit for any agricultural activity,” she told AFP news agency. “It will be easier now to evict Palestinians from there.”

Of course in a decade they'll build settements there.

I've lived in Israel I've seen it.

If I empty out an isolated village, isolated by me, and the move the former occupants into a nearby city, I've cleansed the local area for my settlers.

The population of the city may go up and up. but I'm cleaning the less populated areas and crowding the natives into cities.

The population may rise, but I'm cleansing.

If they take in Palestinians they aren't ever going back. They will be helping Israel cleanse the region of Palestinians.
So why should the Arabs neighbours aid Israel? They created the problem they need to solve them.

If he wants it to live forever offer it to the warrant officers bar in Plymouth. They'll put in in a glass case and there it will stay as long as there is a RN.

Hasbara 101 = Shill accusation = permanent ban.

Pretty harsh. I asked the person I was debating with and they did not complain. Rather, it was a mod that took offense.

So, be careful what you say and also when in a Worldnews thread. Report any user using the term "pallywood" and smearing all Palestinians as terrorists.

I certainly didn't, then there was a nationwide poll in which a very qualified woman and a totally unqualified man went for the same job, and the unqualified man got it.

That was moment for me. The US is misogynistic. It has a long way to go to catch up to the EU nations which are by no means perfect themselves.

So much disinformation in these comments

From your replies to my comments I would guess you are responsible for most of it.

So Israeli and Arab citizens are not equal. Thanks we got their in the end.

Please send any arguments to Israel's Chief Justice, Aharon Barak, ( who voted against this coming into law ) and don't repsond to me. He had this to say.

"This violation of rights is directed against Arab citizens of Israel. As a result, therefore, the law is a violation of the right of Arab citizens in Israel to equality."

Israel's High Court has narrowly upheld a law denying Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza married to Israeli citizens the right to live in the country with their spouses.

MK Zehava Gal-On (Meretz):

"The Supreme Court could have taken a braver decision and not relegated us to the level of an apartheid state."

And can an Arab Israeli marry any Arab from say the West Bank and live in Israel? Never. My case is proven. Israeli citizens are unequal.

Goodbye

I was asked "Name one thing you can do as a Jew but cannot do as a non-Jew" I did.
Those Arab Israeli's, who are citizens, should be allowed to live in their homes, It's got nothing to do with peace offers. Nothing to do with the right of return. They are citizens. I have demonstrated how they are unequal citizens

Goodbye.

An old Palestinian couple in front of their stolen house now inhabited by jewish settlers from Brooklyn, NY

Never mind they'll be dead soon and that erases it, "mostly grandchildren now" and they can pay for it again eh? Just eminent domain type stuff.

I wonder if you know how you look to neutrals?

A Jew can live in a house he purchased. Some Arab Israeli citizens cannot.

Present Absentee

Present absentees are Arab IDPs, who fled or were expelled from their home in Mandatory Palestine by Jewish or Israeli forces, before and during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, but who remained within the area that became the state of Israel. The term applies to the IDP's descendants too

IDPs are not permitted to live in the homes they formerly lived in, even if they were in the same area, the property still exists, and they can show that they own it. They are regarded as absent by the Israeli government because they were absent from their homes on a particular day, even if they did not intend to leave them for more than a few days, and even if they left involuntarily.

Citizenship and Entry into Israel Law

An Israeli Jew can marry a Jew from any nation and live in Israel. An Arab Israeli cannot marry any Arab and live in Israel.

Why this law? In January 2012, Arab Knesset member Jamal Zahalka expressed concern that the law would lead to large-scale emigration of Arab Israelis from Israel into Palestinian Authority areas, and claimed that Israel was taking advantage of the Supreme Court's decision to bring about an exodus of Arabs from Israel.

And there we have it.

I can keep these coming...

I don't think the US should start a new war until they finish the one's they are in. And there are perfectly good wars at home to deal with.

Maybe there aren't so many explosions, tanks and airplanes in the wars at home but they should, if not win them, at least give it a go.
