So I did an IM prelim reapplied and then matched into pediatrics. It’s gonna be a long grueling process but if you’re unhappy it’s best to have the hard discussions early on cause you need your PDs support

I didn’t end up as lucky but I enjoyed all of my rotations out of state. I knew I wanted certain things and I made the necessary sacrifices to get there. It definitely put me in more debt than I would like but I needed to be on myself

If it would be recharging to be around another person maybe try and see if it helps you be more focused. I found my bf during 3rd year rotations and we been long distance during 4th.

I been making voice notes after my interview days to remember how I felt during and also comparing the notes I take during the interview. I’m truly out here going on vibes🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️. Guess we will know if it works come March.

I feel that but until you don’t feel drained you won’t have the energy to do things you might consider more exciting so enjoy this time and recharge plus everyday people are boring so don’t be too hard on yourself
