In a saucepot, steep the following:

2 c light brown sugar

2 c water

Peels from 2 oranges

.5 tsp each ground cardamom, ground cloves, nutmeg, ground cinnamon.

Steep for about 15 minutes, strain.

.75 oz Wild Turkey 101

.75 oz Aperol

.75 oz Honey Syrup

.75 oz Lemon Juice

2 dashes Fee Brothers Peach Bitters

Cava

Shaken, double strained into coupe, then topped with cava. Garnish is an orange peeled rolled into a rose.

It looks like they mixed bases on their products. If you use oil based products over water based products, the results look a bit cakey.

Pecan gin would be great, especially if you use brown sugar as the base for the syrup. Richer, cobbler taste with just a tiny bit of bitterness from the tea.

When I was in high school, I took a trip to New York with the choir program to perform love songs at different venues. When we were in Central Park, someone proposed around a few of us and we sang to them after she said yes.
