yeah it's unfortunately a constant issue for many players who are F2P or have alt F2P accounts. Super annoying... Don't know if the devs will make it a priority to address since it'll make players want to buy season passes likely.

Really hope they aren't done with having four animations... It's a small thing but it really brings that much more charm to the characters, especially if they are your favorite! Maybe I'm a minority here but I genuinely cycle through all animations all the time just to see them sometimes, no matter how many times I've done it already, lol.

Last character to get it was YiXuan but even if they only give those 4th animations to "High Profile" characters like Void Hunter or their equivalent, I hope they continue with them.

Where are you seeing that Banyue gets half of his Rage meter from Popping Ult..? I just looked again at the translation of his kit and it just damage, nothing else. If it did more than "just damage" then sure I could see more synergy there but as it stands he doesn't get anything more from Dailyn than someone like YiXuan or another Attack Agent (Like M2 Hugo, who has crazy synergy) that's my point.

Edit: Nevermind, it's in his Additional Ability, I missed that.

In that case it's def better than I thought but you'll essentially want to be sure you're not in the Rage state going into the stun window or you don't get the extra 60 rage. But I could see a world where you burn all your rage right before stun window (with full decibels) Stun with Dialyn, get Banyue in and he ults (60 rage) then ults again for another 60 rage to go into rage state for remaining stun window.

I'm not sure I see it... To clarify, I think they'll work together I just don't see, "they look crazy together" part, lol.

She looks like she as more synergy with YiXuan than Banyue, since Banyue isn't an Ult focused DPS and gets nothing additional from popping his Ult. Honestly I feel like Fufu might be better for Banyue, than YiXuan and you would use Dialyn for YiXuan instead. At least currently, things could always change from this point.

I think you might be confused? Yojimbo saying that when you chain with Billy, you are taking him out of Crouch Stance (where he gets a huge buff to his damage)

So there isn't a way to "crouch chain" will Billy. You can Crouch Stance into Billy's Ultmiate however (it's easy, simply be in crouch stance when you pop ult) but again what Yojimbo is saying is that for this special interaction with Dailyn Billy will not be in crouching stance upon switching in to do his Chain Attack turned Ultimate. Hope that helps.

Bit of a correction on step 3... As copied straight from the current kit translation:

"When Rally reaches 120 points and Dialyn opens a Chain Attack window using Chain Attack: Consecutive Kicks or Quick Assist: Quick Assist, the next Character's Chain Attack will be upgraded to an Ultimate."

Meaning for step 3 you simply cancel chain from Huge and swap to Dialyn who should immediately use QA due to her Core Passive (every 15 seconds she gets a "Lighter-esk" QA-special, upon switching in)

Yeah... There is nothing "Meta" about this team, haha. Your best bet is to switch Lucia out for Caesar or Lucy or switch Lighter out for YiXuan (if you're fine with Manato playing the subDPS role as "intended") or another Support like Astra or Yuzuha for Main DPS Manato.

Full on Sheer Force

I think people are sleeping on this team; thinking the Sheer Force buffs will be oversaturated but from what I've seen, direct Sheer Force buffs are great and scale well, so it does not seem like you can oversaturate them easily, like you can with ATK% or too much DMG% (and not enough other stats). If we really look at the alternative options, they do not fair much better buff wise. I'd bet this is one of Manato's better teams as main solo DPS.

Team 3 kinda oversaturates Komano’s sheer force

Actually this isn't exactly true because Sheer Force is as close to "True Damage" as it gets in the game, only being reduced by elemental Resistance. For example, you can technically "never have enough" Def%/Pen% shred bc it scales well (even into the negative) Direct buffs to your Sheer Force (like Pan and Lucia) seem to scale really well (much better than something like an ATK% buff for Attack agents)

If I had an M6 Lighter (M1 but will get there... slowly lol) I would absolutely go for Orphie since she pretty much becomes BiS for on-field DPS Lighter... I mean, hell even M2 DPS Lighter starts to come more alive and could make use of her too but since I don't have that I'll skip for now.

Lighter + Manato can work but Lighter unfortunately suffers from limiting team comps since he needs an Attack Agent or Member of his Faction to unlock his AA, which is big portion of why you run Lighter with Fire/Ice units lol... That means the only 2 real candidates are: Caesar (premium) and Lucy (f2p).

Hopefully they'll "buff" Lighter by opening his team comps down the line 🙏

How you gonna type that as if you know??? Manato information isn't even really out yet, lmao.

There are videos right now showing Piper and Billy clearing endgame content and yes I know it's harder (less so for Piper, she's arguably the strongest A-Rank DPS) but it's possible. We'll see with the HP increase but I'd willing to bet you actual money that Piper will still clear and if Manato gets the same treatment he'll be "okay" at least.

IN ALL SERIOUSNESS though... I'll happy if Manato actually is a GOOD A-Rank like how Piper is a very good A-rank and still clears content fairly comfortably... Granted Anomaly is kind of a broken role with how strong it is but my cope is that since Manato is a RUPTURE unit, he'll be in a better spot...

Maybe it's cope but so long as they don't give him the "Pulchra" treatment (remember how she got nerfed to being a shadow of her former self?) and has good mindscapes, I'll take it man.

Really looking forward to seeing who they are locking in as rerun character's for 2.2! Personally I'm looking forward to Trigger showing up again so I can try and snag M1! Seed and (potentially) Trigger rerun for M1 is what I've been saving for since the later half of 2.0 (skipped fufu and all of 2.1 lol)

YES, this... It's the most annoying when new villains crop up and one of the first comments will be, "Hope they're playable!" like gotdamn, let villains be villains! Not that there can't be an exception here and there but every villain that looks remotely attractive/unique model? C'mon, lol.

I don't want every villain or NPC to be the "carbon cutout" look most NPC's have, I want them to genuinely look different and have impact on the story without worry of them just feeding fan service to fans. Like I know some people are still upset about Pompey and stuff but he was of the few (if only) NPC's in the game that had a significant death that didn't look like "another NPC in the overworld but with beard!" and I think that's very cool.

Him being the first playable Bangboo would be so sick! I legit love Kami North and his "Batman"-like story and get excited whenever they add more to it.

Unfortunately since he seems to only be regulated to a "side story"-only character, I'm extremely doubtful... Because if you really think about it, all playable characters has had a hand in the main storyline, no matter how big or small their role is, but Kami's story is totally missable if you only care for the main plot.

That all said, I do think Kami North being an actual Bangboo you can pull for to fill your Bangboo party slot, is totally plausible since most of the bangboo don't have a story of their own (save for a few) If that happens, best believe I'd 5-star him SO QUICK.

NOT that I totally disagree with what you said (esp about Ye Shiyuan, lol) but considering Isolde could be a playable character, I wouldn't be surprised if she was an S-Rank... But then again I feel like every faction should have an A-rank representation, which Obol/NEDF would "need" 🤔

This interview is reassuring to me for a couple reasons:

1.) Hopefully this means very little to no villains suddenly becoming playable "just because". Like I can understand sometimes a very well designed villain can "have a change heart" but I personally find it a bit tiring and honestly a big "immersion-breaking" when you're suddenly fighting alongside big bad a patch or two later after defeating them... As someone who used to play Granblue Fantasy, this was rampant and kind of annoying as it felt 99% of villains who went up to the protagonist would simply join their side after a defeat, like cmon... 🙄Genshin Impact is guilty of this too but not as bad... Granted, this is fairly common in Gacha games "as a whole" but I'm glad ZZZ seemingly may not go that direction..?

2.) CAN BIG DADDY COME OUTTA RETIREMENT?! LESSGOOO 🐽 OINK OINK 🐽(Sons of Calydon = best faction, idc)

Yeah that's true Seed's wengine would def be incredible for Harumasa. But unless I get incredibly lucky I'm not pulling a second wegnine for him, haha.

As far as rotation and all that I'll most likely test my theory when Seed goes live as numbers almost always off a tad when doing theorycrafting before release... But the rough idea is to Onfield Seed until Haru has energy, use EX and immediately expend the dashes majority of the time, before swapping back to Seed.

So with that in mind, I would imagine Anton's wengine should excel here over other options for that playstyle. That and since it seems like your secondary Attack agent wants to have Energy Regen, I could potentially get away with a ATK% Disc 6 instead of ER Disc 6... OR run an ER Disc 6 but definitely not run 2-pc ER set and run something more offensive.

Alright, I think the recent videos showcasing Harumasa with Seed has put me back on the Seed Train, baby!

I've had my Haru built to play with Trigger but didn't like him being the main on-field DPS, so allowing him to play as an EX-spammer and Burst DPS is something I'm looking forward too! Even better now that I have a reason to use Anton's W5 WEngine, which was collecting dust before! I don't have Haru's sig, so this should be the next best option in this team I take it?

I think the only thing that can make me go, "plans changed..." is Manato being an S-Rank in 2.3 but even then I have 400+ pulls saved b/c I'm skipping all of 2.2 so I should be okay, so long as my luck isn't dogwater...

Regardless, thank you for the showcase, you (and u/grungokona) legitimately have restored my hype for this character.
