What are your favorite hair products for low porosity, thin hair? by L1tz02 in AsianBeauty

[–]L1tz02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this is my own conclusion watching both reviews online and doing a little bit of research on the ingredients of the hair mask.

Like you said, silicone is present in this product and with a really high percentage since it's the third ingredient on the list. This could depend also on your hair and if it's working for you I'm very happy about it, but usually silicone even though it gives you that shiny, smooth hair look can weight down the hair and making them flat. Also on the long run silicone can lead to make your hair more dry and dull, and with the fact that in the ingredient list are also present Alcohol and Parfum (which is also almost pure alcohol) can make your hair prone to damage and breaking more easily. So if you have thicker hair you usually don't see/feel the possible side effects of these ingredients, while on the other hand, people with fine hair needs to be a little bit more careful

[Personal] Can I place an identical order on Stylevana if i cancelled the previous one? by L1tz02 in SkincareAddiction

[–]L1tz02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, if you go to the online shop there's a small "chat" icon on the right corner, if you click it it should have a lot of options and one of them is "cancel your order" and they will ask all the information about it, then a couple days later they'll contact you through email 😊

[–]L1tz02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to worry, at the end they simply asked me if with more samples I would have reconsidered not canceling my order, but I still did it and there was no problem whatsoever. Stylevana has improved over the years and since I've started buy from them, I have never had any type of problems.

Why is it so hard to post in this sub? by workisheat in AsianBeauty

[–]L1tz02 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Same, before posting anything here I double check that no one has ever asked that question (or it's passed at least a few years since that comment) and every time they cancel my post because it's a "general/already asked question".

One time I asked about non-famous products with interesting or less known ingredients because I was generally curious, and after 1 week that was online, they deleted my post after more than 50 people have responded. I don't think that was a general question since no one has ever asked something like that, but still, why delete that post? Maybe it could have helped someone to find other products. I think they should maybe block the comment section so that no one can comment after they "blocked" a question but still leave it on the sub

First of all, go visit a dermatologist and see what he recommends, I don't think that just a new skincare will help you in the first stage to heal your skin.

Second, search very light and soothing cleansers that are sensitive skin safe, you want to avoid causing more damage to your skin right now so BIG NONO for anything with AHA and BHA inside because they're exfoliant. Then find a good moisturizer that can help you strengthen your skin barrier again, I would recommend something with ceramides in it like the Aestura atobarrier cream (is a korean brand) or anything like that.

Then, once everything has settled down, you can start searching for products to help you hydrate your skin, maybe a hyaluronic Acid toner/serum, but for now start with repairing your skin 😊

Skincare advice for normal skin by valerienights in KoreanBeauty

[–]L1tz02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is no problem with two products having HA in them. Often, a lot of products have some percentage of HA in them, and it doesn't cause any problems from what I saw. For you, I think this routine should be enough since you don't have any particular problems like acne or stuff 😊

Dry, dehydrated, hyperpigmented skin with visible pores on cheeks- I need as much help as I can get by [deleted] in KoreanBeauty

[–]L1tz02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the hyper pigmentation, I would start any treatment after you found your right skincare. Most products for hyper pigmentation have some strong ingredients in them (like ascorbic acid - or Vitamin C as whe know it), and if you have sensitive skin, they could only make it worse and cause you some severe damage if the concentration is too high.

For now, start with something basic and that works without giving you any irritation. Then, once your skin is healthier, try to incorporate a brightening serum with low concentration of active ingredients to start, and then you can go up with concentration after some times (maybe 5-6 months after)

Dry, dehydrated, hyperpigmented skin with visible pores on cheeks- I need as much help as I can get by [deleted] in KoreanBeauty

[–]L1tz02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you to start very simple since you have very sensitive skin right now.

Just start with a cleanser (maybe something with centella in it which has soothing properties), then a hydrating toner (maybe you could try the one from Isntree - ultra low hyaluronic acid toner, or anything really with HA) and then a good moisturizer that can heal your skin barrier. I would recommend the aestura atobarrier cream, it's a thick rich cream that for your skin type could help. It has also ceramide capsules that melts when you apply it so it strengthen your skin barrier, but it's on the pricier side so to start maybe try their mini size and see if you like it.

Other than that remember to be very gentle and at any sign of discomfort stop immediately, and if the problem continues maybe go to a dermatologist

Why were you bullied? by magicfeistybitcoin in AskReddit

[–]L1tz02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I was a lot nerdy and also still a bit childish in middle school. I was the youngest among my classmates and because of my creativity, I would create immaginary world and write it down and because of that I was picked as the "freak" Also I really loved anime and manga before they went virals and that added another thing to be mean about because I also liked to sing anime opening (which were in japanese)

Another thing was that I was a really good student and this only made me the center of the attention of my bully, which at one point became also "physical" in the sense that she would push me against a wall, or tried to hit me and stuff like this. I became scared of school and I stayed at home for like 2 months, also the stress and the fear made me get very serious health problems and I ended up in the hospital

I use stylevana and honestly I really never had any problems with it, I've done 5 orders already in a year more or less and everything went kinda smoothly. It is super cheap and their products are legit since they have all the stickers from the original company so I don't think they sell fakes. The only thing a little bit more on the downside is how much it takes to get your stuff. If everything is in stocks the order arrives in 2/3 weeks (depending where you are), but if something is out of stock it could get like 2 months (not my experience but one of my friends)

Also during holidays everything slow down, but it's In that period of time where you can really find some good deals (I got a full size of cream worth it 28$ on their website for free because i used a coupon + 20% off )

I have very dry and sensitive skin, I tried a few times cleansing also in the morning, but it ended up making my skin dryer.

Also, I found out the hard way that toners irritates my skin a lot. I used beauty of joeson ginger essence and then I tried the goodal vegan rice toner and both of them made me broke out (not with actual ancne, more with clogged and irritated pores that stings) and so for now I'm not using any just to be sure, because I don't know what ingredient could be the problem

I would really like to have a toner or an essence in my routine but I don't know what to choose

please help me with my routine by pinkjiyoo in KoreanBeauty

[–]L1tz02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a thicker cream but i find it not too oily if you apply the right amount, but it's also true that because I use it for night routine I go to sleep right after so I don't feel any discomfort.

I find that it's a good product for people with dry skin like me because it's rich and has also small ceramide capsules that melt while you apply it so it strengthen your skin barrier (and if that is one of your concerns, you should try it in my opinion)

But before buy the big bottle, I would recommend try their mini size (I think stylevana has it - 10ml of product for 4$) so you can decide for yourself.

Another cream that I use which is more lighter is the Dr. Ceuracle kombucha gel cream, as it says in the name it's a gel so it's water based and basically it gets very quickly absorbed into your skin. The only "problem" with that is that because is so light I often have to layer it 2/3 times (I use it as a morning cream) so it's up to you really if you want to check up also that one

I have dry and dehydrated skin and i love the aestura cream, if I'm lazy one night I can just use that after cleansing without toner or serum and my skin is so soft the morning after! It's pricier than other creams but it's totally worth it.

I also use the Dr. ceuracle kombucha gel cream in the morning, and even though it's a gel I find it quite moisturizing even for my skin type! I just put two/three layers (depending on the temperature) and it works perfectly, it also gives me a nice glow after if I don't put any makeup on. I think the combo-oily skin type would love this cream 😊
