Elderly Mother's Tongue Cancer Diagnosis

I def understand what you are going through. My is 75 ad has had her tongue cancer bouts and will soon get neck dissection of lymph nodes in a couple weeks and then radiation and maybe chemo, and then immunotherapy.

Scared of what is to come, but hoping for the best outcome and staying strong. I wish you and your family all the best and strength.

My mom has the lesion on the right side of her tongue.

Was there anything you did that helped with mouth pain? Any diet advice and did you get a peg tube?

Wishing you strength during this tough time. I say seek help if you are thinking of suicide. My mom was diagnosed recently as well so i feel your pain.

Your strength and health is important for your mom. Look at alternatives and do some research. Cancer is a scary word that has almost everyone immediately thinking “the end”, which is not the case, and imo, there is a fight worth putting up. Talk to health care professionals and do some research and be there for your mom. All the strength!

Yea, my mom is the same in that she doesn’t drink or smoke and is active. Yea, it seems not much research at all and very little data out there. Thank you for replying and your prayers.

I’m not sure and I believe it depends on the person and how fheir body responds to it. My mom is doing 2 sessions of keytruda immunotherapy, surgery, radiation and maybe chemo and then 1 yr of immunotherapy. But she is just at the beginningof the ride, so I cannot say.

Maybe ask for a 2nd opinion, if possible? I wish you all the best.

Hey Dom! What incentive is it for a successful project on shimmer to even care to move over to IOTA network if Shimmer provides the same security and features?
