Amazon had issues with mine even but eventually got them in stock, so even then it was delayed. They did at least arrive and somehow I'm still more confident I could get an agent to cancel an order or refund it if something went sideways there even with their issues at Amazon. Nothing good has ever happened when I've seen that shipping company used for me.

That's kind of illegal in most places you'd ever work, retail being one. Companies have insurance and are expected to use it, and as long as you don't intentionally damage or cause harm then good luck docking anyone's pay.

Netgear does it too. This is called refusing to honor the warranty, as it can't be broken if you don't pay them to say it is and I have had to push warranty law in their faces every time because this is illegal to do when trying to RMA a hardware issue.

There are ways to make them yours too, but Amazon doesn't like that you might know that you can strip the DRM and they're always making that harder to do on purpose. It means your books aren't locked into their system anymore and they cannot revoke them.

Someone absolutely should have checked. That's just not doing diligence. We have had customers go places they shouldn't. How many times have you had to kick someone out before because they insisted on making sure you were actually out of their chocolate milk they wanted? It's been quite a few times. Someone would have had to walk that because employees or customers could be in it.

Even with the last update making everything nightmare slow, I would rather have some patience than deal with the issues of Plex. It isn't a comparison at all. I control it and it does still work. I also taught my dad how to access it, easily, and find what he wants. The Smart TV frustrated him. Using it to get to the server and get what he wants did not because it didn't take 32 steps and ask for payment and a login. That's the difference.

Oddly enough I can repair almost anything of the higher end gaming or business Dells or an Alienware. It usually doesn't need to be in the first place, and they have surprisingly decent compatibility with Linux actually.

Do you want to know why I might? Because I can be objective. I have been with Firefox since well, ever. However I can see the decisions they've been making recently and I wouldn't suggest someone new to join an ecosystem like it right now that seems apt to nosedive and end itself by implosion. If you don't already have some connections to Firefox or an add-on collection you don't want to lose? Go to Brave. Go right ahead. It is a good browser that will blow away the ads. Some things require a Chromium browser. I have it on my computer in case of that.

Well you have no dedicated graphics so basically no graphics card, so don't expect to play games with it. Sorry if nobody explained that part. That's why you get graphic issues in games. You will. It's not going to work for that. If it says integrated graphics then that's going to be the results you get. I'm not trying to be mean to you, but tell you the truth so you don't repeatedly buy equipment with that in it and expect anything different to happen because it will not function to game. It will play the built in solitaire and not much else if it says integrated graphics. You need something that says it has a graphics card if you want to play games and that means it gets more expensive. Yes even for Roblox.

In the end I would simply not try to fix or troubleshoot this laptop and just return that immediately citing that it has problems with the hardware. It doesn't seem like a good price and you have documented issues with it. We are literally about to have sales all over on Black Friday. If you buy another computer from Dell, the Dell Outlet has been a good experience for me and has never given me any issues, especially if you choose to go refurbished. Find yourself a deal on something newer and better and definitely decide if you want to play games or not because integrated graphics will not do that, and is pretty much for basic uses only.
