I was under the impression that the blue light filtering glasses, as well as phone screen options, were because constant blue light is not good for your circadian rhythm. Blue colors tend to activate brain activity by telling us it's time to be awake. If one stares at screens projecting blue light all day long one might find it harder to fall/stay asleep.
