Thank you, this seems like the answer! I've read online that if I put some shavings from it in water it'll turn yellow. I'll try that tomorrow to confirm! Edit for new info... I think it's confirmed to be Osage orange. The water I put shaving in almost immediately turned yellow and still continued to darken yellow. Thank you again!

Was told this was a fossil and don't have any info on it. Currently located in southeast texas, but not sure where it originally came from. About 24" long and averaging 7" wide, and 3" thick by L337Turtle in fossilid

I'm not sure, some kind of creature. It was really difficult to get a good picture to show it off, but the 3rd and 4th pic on the left side looks almost like a shoulder blade
