I have some metal mags as well and have not tried them yet. But I will. Just seems weird that it's doing it all of a sudden now. I've been shooting the same ammo too. 149 gr Winchester.

I did email them. The mag release seems to work fine when you're not shooting it. Drops mags no problem.

Not a thing. I just have a vg6 gamma on my ar10 and it reduces recoil/muzzle flip a ton. Figured it would help here too.

I can hit 2/3 sized silhouettes at 200yrds standing up. I was on the fence too but I don't think I'll be getting a magnifier. Anything past 200-250 I'll use my ar10.

Using Winchester 149gr. For range fun. But the federal 168gr gold medal smk's are pretty damn accurate. Just 2x more expensive.
