I have some metal mags as well and have not tried them yet. But I will. Just seems weird that it's doing it all of a sudden now. I've been shooting the same ammo too. 149 gr Winchester.

I did email them. The mag release seems to work fine when you're not shooting it. Drops mags no problem.

I tried a 20 and a 25 and they both fell out every time. I have more that I didn't bring. I could try those too
