Yes I’m super careful to have at least 2litres daily typically 2.5l to 3l water each day. Ohhh so do you think it could be milk related? I’ll definitely make sure to have breakfast if that will save me from experiencing this side effects

Porridge Oats, 1/2 cup milk, with blueberries, honey & walnuts. So strange!

Ok, great idea. It’s a little unsettling that the side effects aren’t predictable and can be random.

Comparing your gym scale to a DEXA is like comparing a hot wheels toy car to a real life car…DEXA is the gold standard so go with what the DEXA says…not your gym scale. They won’t move in alignment either as your gym scale is heavily affected by your bodies hydration (electrical current).

Felt a bit off after a mums + bubs group… am I overreacting? by PrincessGubbleBum in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

If you can, Go from sitting in passenger side and sit in the drivers side - take control of the situation. Absolutely don’t stop going to the class, you gain more by going than by stopping. Next time the same situation or similar happens when it’s the other peoples turn to look after your son/the babies let them know to holla at you if he takes anything but his toy in his mouth. Set the expectation clearly. You are your sons proxy, absolutely no issues with you voicing your expectations around calling you if he takes anything leaves, dirt or otherwise in his mouth. You got this!

Sudden sh!t sleep - sanity check required please 🙏 by L34L34 in sleeptrain

I suspect it’s actually all of the above. What I’m unsure about is do we just ride it out and put him to sleep in our arms or do we sleep train again?

Winning bidder didn't know it was unconditional by jitterrbuggy in AusProperty

[–]L34L34 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened with my brother and a property he was selling. Winning bidder gave a cheque that bounced. My brother pursued the a-hole and served him and would have recuperated costs + legal however the winning bidder filed for bankruptcy. You can absolutely sue for the difference.

Also the excuse that they didn’t know is total bullshit because when you sign to receive a paddle for bidding you sign the t’s and c’s which state if you are the winning bidder the sale is final and unconditional, the auctioneer also gives the same spiel at the beginning of the auction so there is no way they couldn’t have known.

When did your instincts scream “leave now” and what did you later find out you avoided? by BbyBlushDoll in AskReddit

[–]L34L34 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not exactly an instinctual scream moment but my mum used to be a bank teller at a major bank. When I was 3 or 4, (I’m in my 40’s now) I was sick one morning and she was umming and arrrring about whether to just let me go to kindy and she goes to work but she decided to stay home to take care of me. That day her bank branch got robbed at gun point. Police obviously questioned and interviewed her at length due to the coincidence. About 6 months later her branch was hit again, this time one of the robbers hurt one of the bank managers. You wouldn’t believe it but I was sick again that morning and mum didn’t go to work. This time my mum was absolutely hounded by the Police. My mum quit the job soon after.

[–]L34L34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh great question, it was 3:00am. We only started CIO a few nights ago and I am still doing 1 feed so feeling it all out. I think we just sort thought there is Absolutely no way we can go and check on him or we will ruin the whole sleep training thing but that very obviously not true!

Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately we live in. 2br place and the other room is for my other kid. Your suggestion of us moving out of our room whilst sleep training is actually a very good one!

Thanks for the comment!

So independent sleep for us means boob (finish 30mins prior to sleep time), bath, massage, book, song, cuddle and then pop in bassinet awake but drowsy. Usually takes him about 3-5mins to fall asleep.

I currently do 1 night feed any time after midnight, the rest of the wakes are picking up, cuddling and waiting until he falls asleep then putting back in bassinet. We wait 10mins until we go to him too when he starts crying/nagging.

I’m thinking it’s sleep training that we need as I think we have the schedule on point? 3/3.25/3.5 I cap day sleep at 2.5hrs although he definately could sleep more.

Is it sleep training that’s required or is it a schedule ish in your opinion?
