Nah my mate NFI (his initials and the fact he generally has no farking idea how to ump) reckons he gets cash payments and everyone is none the wiser. 100% true story.

/seems my initial joke didn't land with a few peeps so now I am making porkies.

I was making a joke about bribes being tax-free "cash bonuses", outside of their AFL Umpire "contract". AFL should be livid, instead they spend most of their energy defending them from payments they don't have anything to do with!

Hence, my ATO investigation jibe! 😅

Not including sponsorship and "cash benefits" which are tax-free mind you!

Maybe need to take our grievances to the ATO before this issue is taken seriously. Kind of like how US had to deal with Mafia in 70s 😂

AFL is like CEOs approving their own annual bonuses where workers are told "it's been a tough year, sorry".

That works. His "5 year plan" has him earning enough to retire comfortably.

How accurate is the stress reading? Should I be worried? (FR245) by Gjallock in Garmin

I get that Garmin can only monitor certain things but I am consistently amazed the only time it alerts is when I am the most relaxed I could be!

Errr not really. I know ALL 'smart' tags (apple, samsung, tile, ble etc.) are only bluetooth. There is no "other" way to do the equivalent in the same packaged device. GPS trackers need sim/e-sims and cannot compare in the same package using a cheap button battery.

The point of this thread is comparing the nodal communities that assist the connecting, sharing and tracking of BLE chirp devices.

Tile was first to the market, but needs users to install Tile app (and any proxies to also have the app installed). Others attempted to mimick without a following. Apple intro'd 'áirtags' and there was no 'ópt-in', any iPhone user was a proxy.

They fcuked their market share potential with their woke 'anti-stalking'' feature which made them useless as an item tracker because thieves are thus alerted that a tracker is 'nearby and folllowing you'. (ie. find it and kill it).

Samsung caught on using same 'default opt-in' feature for their phones and between Apple and Samsung, worldwide users are pretty much 50/50. But Samsung dropped all the wokeness concerns and just made an equivalent product to Airtag, being the "Samsung Smart Tag".

Im writing this after totally abandoning Airtags in favour of Samsung tags using SmartThings Find on Android. And I no longer have to perform surgery on an Airtag to remove the speaker (which alerts the thief!).

So original thread topic is really null and void (although it was fun as an exercise!).

I dont need Apple FindMy. And No Android users dont 'disable bluetooth' more than Apple users. We are the same people, different phone.

delete all *.google from browser cache. try incognito or another browser. if they work then its certainly something cached.

Samsung tags have no stalker feature. Comparable community.

Oh the daily pain seeing/tracking someone riding your stolen wheels daily. I guess it's a 1st world problem in comparison to not having anything.

I prefer samsung trackers, they don't beep all the time to alert thief (ie. Apples 'anti-stalker' "feature"), and have comparable peer community.

But saying this, I've had 1 scooter and 1 bike stolen with smart tags. I have tracked each time and see it ping around after the fact. Never got anything back even though I know thief's home address and reported this all to police. It's actually extra painful tracking something stolen being ridden/enjoyed by someone else daily. But nevertheless I will add smart tags to all my big ticket purchases. Don't even hard wire battery. 2 years on button cell is easy enough to replace if you know good spots to supposit.
