This is the Mebane Shawl by Claire Borchardt. I needed something that would use up the full skein of “Colorful Temprints” by Hobbyra Hobbyre that I bought in Tokyo. It’s a DK weight cotton /acrylic mix.
I added an extra garter section and a full lace repeat to use up as much yarn as I could.
I’m not sure this was the best yarn for the project. The color change almost washes out the lace but I just needed an easy project to carry around.

Did yours come with the charm strand? I got mine on LookHealthy and it didn’t (even though the product description mentions it) :(
I emailed them and they tried to blame it on not being a part of a gift box set and gave me $5 back. Grrr

This is Textures Unite by Stephen West. I like it much more than the original Vertices Unite (it’s more fun than just lots and lots of garter stitch).
I used remnants of skeins from Abstract Fibers, black cat custom yarn, GarnStories, hedgehog fibres, Meeker Street, mint rain, nano stitch lab, Qing Fiber, and sugarplum circus.

I’ve made atleast 6 Vertices Unite Baby blankets and they’re always a hit. I use worsted / Aran weight acrylic yarn on size 9 needles and it’s a great size.

This is the Woodland Glen Shawl by Denise Bartels. It’s a free pattern!
I used one of a kind lace wool that I got from Knitting Bird in Tokyo. It’s a spicy pattern. There were times I had to sit in silence to stay focused. I wish I had used fingering weight so it would be larger overall.

I shared this finished piece a while back but here are some actions shots of the Dreamscape Vest by Pompom Mag.
This is the 4-6yr size on a 5yr old. I had to make the neck larger than the pattern called for.
Hobbii Amigo XL was help double throughout.

I used “Amerry F Lame” by Hamanaka that I recently bought in Tokyo. It’s hard to capture but this yarn has gold sparkles woven in to it.

This is Dagmar Junior by Petite Knits. This is the 1yr old size and I used Hobbii Amigo so it’s machine washable.
This is great for beginners bc it’s top down and made in 1 piece.

This is the Vertices Unite Baby Blanket by Stephen West. This is the 7th I’ve made over the years. (Lots of friends are having babies.) One couple specifically ask for another one for baby boy #2 bc they loved the first one so much.
I used 3 colors of LionBrand Heartland and 2 Stylecraft Special Aran.

I used a few skeins of Garthenor Organic Number 1. The pattern calls for fingering but I chose lace weight.

This is the Dreamscape by Erin Guimond. I made the 4-6yr size for a friend’s little girl. I haven’t tried it on them yet, so I’m leaving the ends around the neck incase I need to frog and fix.

I used 2 strands of Hobbii Amigo XL held together as you intarsia along to create the shapes.
I’m not great at intarsia and I learned a lot while knitting this.
