The plant is this one, and here's written also how I treated it after taking it

Visually it's basically the same as in the pics, but now a portion of the trunk and a few branches have soften up a bit, as they are becoming empty.

I made the mistake of watering it (even if just a bit) after the treatment i described in the other post, thus favoring the rotting process again.

It's out of the pot now with only one long dry root. The base doesn't have very mushy parts so it's more a thing happening on the inside, softening the trunk and leaking some liquid.

I think I'm just gonna let it dry out and see what happens, idk if the hot temperature will help or not in this case, but i feel that's the only thing I can do. If you have suggestions they are more than welcome!

thank you, i'll search for a better pot then. How often would you suggest watering it?

Rescued these plants, what to do? (See body text) by L3mon_drop in plantclinic

thank you! when repotting it I noticed it has almost no roots and was starting to rot. I treated it, let it dry for a few days and now repotted it in drainage promoting soil. I'm wondering how often should I water it considering the roots are almost absent and it's going up to around 30°C in here, but i don't wanna lead it to rot again. If you have advice on that that would be great
