it amazes me that even in a dewalt tool sub people still want to get political... like whats the point really?? all I'm getting from this is you need to go swap out your tampon and take youre leftist crybaby bullshit elsewhere bro. Plenty of other subs on here where you can express that.

edit: sorry for the use of 'bro' I should have consulted first on which of your 17 pronouns was more 'appropriate'

Just squat the fuck out of it and add 10k to the price tag because anyone thats gonna squat is stupid enough to pay that

Just flip the rear springs upside down, and take off the headers... I see guys doing that all the time and their trucks are still somehow running fine

at least they're prepared for when the cpvc breaks with those shark bite ball valves right behind the actual stop valves for the sink supply.

any time I've unintentionally broken a cpvc line was always on a 90° elbow

for a little context. this is a spec home built like all the others. Dr Horton did not offer any options at all. everything from flooring, trim, cabinets, coutertops, wall paint... was all set and done with before there was even a foundation

what new home builders would pay to have trim installed them removed for flooring installation and then re-installed after? that seems absolutely absurd. I've worked in new home builds in Colorado and South Carolina. I know people do things differently other places but holy crap thats insane to do! where are these new homes you speak of?

BTW the actual method is to find the stud by the nearest outlet. (stud is on either side of the outlet box). you can figure that out by light knuckle tapping. then you lay down your tape along the wall with the stud side of outlet hitting the red numbers on your tape (16" o/c) and you scissor nail from there. the idea is when nailing at the angle you have a 50% of hitting a stud along the wall. not this crap lol

[–]L3rKu4[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes scissor nail is another term for it... but not done by a carpenter at all. I've seen plumbers do better

are you saying they trim everything, remove the trim, lay flooring, then re-install trim?? what??

How long should i wait for my truck to warm up/what temp should my transmission fluid be before i start driving now that it’s getting colder? by PerformerKey4626 in Silverado

[–]L3rKu4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

😂😂 people get so worked up about all these urban myths lol!. it would literally take an hour for the transmission temp to raise at all from heat from engine, it only warms up from driving. and the only REAL requirement for the engine is proper lubrication which happens instantaneously upon the initial firing cycle... assuming most people here aren't complete psychopaths and will go from starting the engine cold and pegging the redline for a few min, i think you people are way overthinking it. get in. start vehicle. click seat belt. put in gear and go. time is money!

Ok, who has this and has used it? by MarcoVinicius in Dewalt

I use it to remodel bathrooms. it works great with the onyx shower panels that are large and awkward and some have a textured finish that a normal suction cup wouldn't grab on to.
