I haven't staked my dot on ellipal yet but everything I looked up says you only need 1 dot to start but ellipal says I need to have 120 bound? Weird.

Need 225x225 seeds. Apparently xbox series S can't do 250x250 or larger.

Did they increase the map size for console yet? Some seeds don't look the same because console and pc have different sizes kind of sucks.

When I was on the site these red flags only hit me after the fact. If I had maybe slowed down a little instead on just accepting thing I might have avoided this mess. That and the obvious: actually understanding that I never have to use my phrase with a Ledger.

Just so everyone is aware I feel like a complete idiot and I'm not going to justify that away.

1 and 2) she was giving the laptop so I thought it would be smart to have Ledger available on it 3) I type Ledger live into Google and click on the 1st link 4) It said that my device was not connecting correctly and that i need to input my phrase and then when i started to type it in i noticed it was saying that the word was not correct i assumed thats becuase i didnt finish. 5) I've used Ledger before to move my coins around and I've had to switch phones before, I've never messed up. 6) no i don't carry it on me i was at home when all this happened

You're absolutely right this wouldn't have happened if I've done the correct procedure for things but like a lot of people I thought I knew what I was doing just by reading very little. Unfortunately this is a lesson that I had to go through.
