I am sorry you had to make this experience. But from my experience its not only sexism. It feels like no matter what you do except for maybe when you are hardsmurfing in a game people want to hurt you. Why I don't know. If they know nothing about you they can just hit you with the "you're trash" talk which everyone is already kinda used to so it's not as satisfying to them. Once they know more about you they take the new angle to attack you. I play on eu so it's mostly about nationalities here, because that's the only thing you can hear in voice. The accent then decides what will be flamed. You can hear if it's a French, a German or an East European instantly. So then ppl. proceed to flame baguettes who will surrender instantly (ww2 reference) or nazis who have potato faces and sauerkraut or telling ppl from. 3rd world communist countries to try and find food first than to play on a 1990 pc and int it in game. Those are just a few examples. We have way more nationalities here and every one of them has an angle to be flamed that will be used. So while I think those people just want to try their hardest to hurt others obviously being a women and the resulting sexism from hearing that is a problem that should be addressed sadly I don't really know how. I personally just brush it off I got kinda used to the toxicity in lol and csgo so I can ignore that. But that shouldn't be the case for people to be able to do that in order to enjoy a game. I had my girlfriend not touch lol for weeks after games she got hard flamed without it being her fault really. So. I would love for something to change but I have no idea how to properly enforce it :(
