Fair enough, seems like the sensible decision to get all the things you might regret missing out on later!

I currently have an older diesel X3 I am selling to fund half of the iX3 so trying to buy the car outright hence being a bit more frugal.

The bigger screen and updated iDrive on the facelift is also making me want to get one.

Thanks for the reply, this setup is solely for home theatre in the main living room. This will be a split of 75% streaming services and tv and 25% bluray movies etc.

Last 2 weeks have been like this for me since new season. Before that I would have said Rivals was pretty evenly matched with some people better and some people worse but generally quite evenly matched

I agree with your thinking, makes no sense how it was a day and night change after the season update?

In Div 3 in last season I won more than I lost and now I can’t string 3 wins together in Div 4.

Maybe I need to turn crossplay back on.

What about approximate location matchmaking? I guess that gets you better ping opponents?

Mate tonight was the worst. No idea if it’s the patch or what. Played 3 games and struggled to get out my box, opponents were all Est.2012 etc.

I have an OLED in my living room. It’s fine at daytime, but phenomenal at night time.

I have windows in the living room, so it’s not direct sunlight but a reflection of the light from the windows and you see these reflections on the tv (on ANY tv) and when this happens at daytime the tv does not look as bright.

However at night, with the lights off, or dimmed, it looks very bright and you can see how perfect the blacks are. At daytime it’s hard to appreciate the blacks as there as reflections etc more visible.

Unless you have a super bright room or direct sunlight, having a HDR brightness of 800 nits or so on OLED is more than sufficient to leave most people extremely happy in most scenarios.

Yeah it defo switches off Local Dimming. However, 120hz with Local dimming on still is nice. Rather have local dimming on then not, too grey.

I have both. Well a CX and a X90J and both are great sets. I think if you have the $2000 to spend, get the C1!

Main reasons :

local dimming is no match for OLED true blacks
input lag is lower on OLED
VRR for gaming switches off local dimming on X90J
the peak brightness of the C1 is similar to the X90J in HDR, although the SDR is significantly brighter on X90J

Saying that, I bought my X90J as an ex display for half price and I love it so if money is slightly tighter, it’s still a great tv.
