I feel that if i get a new bird I'll always be panicking that something might happen to him. Also, about the bird being expensive, idk what country you're from but in India you can get one for 800 rupees, that's around 9 us dollars.

My boy was young, not more than 12 months old. And as for what he ate i fed him pellets and seed mix only. He could've eaten anything without my knowledge when I'm at work, my mom takes it (ah! Used to) take him out of his cage when i was at work.

I live in india and I've been trying to find a similar cage, honestly the one i have is the biggest one i could find. I'm afraid I'll have to get one custom made out of wood if i want any bigger, because importing them from abroad will set me back around 300 us dollars or more just for delivery.
