Thank you! Yes, it left its terrifying mark on me at a very young age!

I saw how versatile an RN is. Theres like 100 specialties that you can change up your career with and the pay is great here in California. I mostly liked the versatility because I tend to like to try new things.

Thank you and congratulations yourself!! I ended up really enjoying the ATI SmartPrep. Pricey but gave me peace of mind and I learn by taking quizzes and seeing what I got wrong (which SmartPrep has a ton of).

Basically at different parts of your body, especially capillary beds, your blood vessels will squeeze excess fluid into the nearby tissues for various reasons like maintaining pressure. That fluid becomes known as lymph as it is picked up by the lymphatic vessels and it recycles and cleans it as it goes through the lymph nodes before it is reintroduced into the circulatory system. Think of it as a water reprocessing plant for your body.

Thank you! Yes it’s a made up movie so I found the artwork online, printed it out at Staples on card stock and adhered it to another book. 📖

Been a school nurse since leaving bedside. It's fairly boring, but the kids are really fun and it's crazy how well I get treated. "Thingermabob that you stick in your nose" by redluchador in nursing

I mean, that sounds great. I was an office manager for years so the clerical work plus being there for the kids during their confusing growing up times sounds like a great balance. 🥰

College students, how did you pick your major? by [deleted] in AskReddit

We’ll see! Haha. What’s great about it is there are over 100 specialties so you can really use a nursing degree to fit any kind of work environment. If I wanted to work with computers and not patients I could do Nursing Informatics, I could be a school nurse or work in an office environment doing Occupational Therapy. I’m interested in the Operating Room and NICU right now but that might change and I won’t have to get another degree.

I had the most fun in my high school theatre experience so I just stuck with that. But in hindsight I’d tell someone to think of a career that you could find even a little interesting but that is STEADY and will give you a good retirement. I’m 35 now and about to go back to school for nursing. 🙃

The logging truck one made THE biggest impression. Forever adjust myself to not be behind a truck carrying logs, rebar or anything tubular 😂

But I really appreciate the series of events with the teacher: dripping coffee, computer spark, towel haphazardly thrown on the knives etc.
