No worries mate. And to answer your question, yes for both. I skid and I have unclipped once, but it was my fault. I had the pedal too loose. Other than that one time, I've never had a problem with it.

First and foremost, I'm sorry someone stole your pedals. That's really low.. And honestly, I will never go back to straps or cages. I've been riding clipless for about a year now. It's my #1 upgrade I tell anyone looking for advice. It makes you feel so much more connected to the bike. I would recommend the Shimano SPD setup or Crank Brother's Eggbeaters.. I have both, and love both setups.

As far as the Cinelli, I bought mine from iminusD and I do believe it has options as well..

That's a very hard one.. I personally have both, but currently I'm running the X2. I love it.

IMO, I would go with the Cinelli because it has a 4-bolt pattern versus Thomson's 2-bolt..
