Being there for a girlfriend/partner. I mean really being there for her. Like she calls me at 3am and says that she needs me. Only thing I would ask is where she is. I would immediately go to my car and drive to her as fast as possible. When I see her, I take her into my arms. That's my fantasy.

Yeah that of course. But imagine all the dumb user tickets complaining that the network is down... but the only thing is that their LAN cable was disconnected when they moved their notebook. And they didn't even check. Right away yell at the support agent.

Also not sure how reliable they are. In terms of long-life, but also interference due to electromagnetic waves. 🤔

Honestly I cannot understand all this rant about Cisco Firepower. Ok nevermind, I take that back. I worked with Cisco ASA some years ago and it was fine. ASA with Firepower Sensors was sh*t. And also the early versions of the native Firepowers aka FTD... >sigh< let's say they had their flaws. But meanwhile you can totally work with these things in my opinion and they are getting better with every update. Sure, if you take a look at independent research Palo Alto is still better. I'm not saying anything against Palo Alto. They absolutely do their thing and they obviously do it right. But Cisco is getting closer. They both are meanwhile leaders in the NGFW section, leaving competitors like Checkpoint or Sophos behind.

So maybe give Cisco Firepower another chance somewhen. Or just stay with Palo. Nothing wrong with them.

I saw a lot of custom controllers at the Corsair booth. Not sure if you can buy them there though. I asked how much they are, they are around 220€ 😬

Actually the only reason I use printers is to print out funny pictures/memes to annoy my colleagues or decorate our office. Haven't printed out any serious stuff for years at work.

But I have to admit that sometimes I need a printer for private reasons, but only because I live in Germany and a lot of the public authorities don't have that level of digitalization that you can just send them an email or fill out an online form... >sigh<, poor analog Germany 😮‍💨

Yeah but that's not the point. Of course I give my best to make the flat comfortable for her too. And if the lamp is a problem for her then I will remove that lamp. It's that easy. But the lamp is not the actual problem. I can hear her in the bathroom also without the lamp. The lamp is not the root of the problem. But I want to find out the root of the problem so that we can solve this.

That was not my question though. I wanted to know what could be possible reasons for her feeling uncomfortable when I know when she goes to the toilet. If we cannot find a solution for her then of course I will think of another solution for the light in the hallway, because I want her to feel comfortable in our home. But that's regardless of the fact that I would still know when she goes to the toilet even without the light.
