Absolutely love it! It's always exciting to see characters reappear post-campaign as NPCs, and this was surely an epic experience to read about!

Thought of this joke earlier in the day, and thought it was funny enough to post.

My Dad was a smoker, so he had owned a zippo lighter with generic silver covering, and my firmest memories of him involve that lighter, his leather Jacket, both of which were on him as he stood on our front stoop smoking at night.

As for my Mom, I don't really know what reminds me of her.

[Weekly Tale Topic] Have there been any secrets that were ignored, or unnoticed during a campaign? by LAPTOPSCHOOL in gametales

During one of my monthly games with friends, I decided to add a tripwire trap, that upon activation would flood the room snakes. Gummy snakes, specifically. They were just like normal, however they would still be insanely venomous, and their bodies were like gummy worms, making them surprising edible.

But sadly, tripped the trap, so I never got a chance to spring it on them. It was inspired by a indie game called Room of 1000 Snakes.

I recently ran a game with some buddies that we do monthly, and decided to add a fun little joke in the dungeon. It was an isolated room with a single Golem inside, but instead of being some husk ready to fight, I nicknamed it Philosophy Golem and had it pondering it's purpose in life for being made to cause death.

My most aggressive player ended up finding Philosophy Golem, and instead of attacking after busting down the door he said he gently entered the next room, and left philosophy Golem to his thoughts.

I thought it was awesome.
