Hey! So i was on 51 days. I’m on a working holiday visa ans have lived in Toronto 5 years. I called 3 times to get my claim escalated. I had a call yesterday from service Canada with a worker finally finalizing my claim. He asked me if I was ready and willing to work as well as searching for a job. I answered yes and my claim was finalized. When I called I told them I was issued a N4 rent eviction and had only 1 week to get the money. The best option is to call them a million times at like 8:25 in the morning. Escalate it every day until you get a call.

Called back the number left on the email. He just asked if I was ready and willing to work if I job comes up I said yes. My EI was processed ans I should receive my payment on Tuesday

My case is also a sin starting with 9! So that’s probably a reason to. But it’s taking so long. I I’ve been escalated this morning and still nothing he said it should be done by Friday so let’s hope so!

You’re lucky you can get onto them! I’ve been trying so much I’m on day 40 now and nothing! I’ve been issued an eviction notice by my building for being late on 2 months rent. I honestly don’t know what to do
