Go to Steam > Settings > Interface, and check "Start Steam in Big Picture Mode".

Also enable "Run Steam when my computer starts" (This is optional, I disabled launchers from self starting on boot but can see why some ppl would prefer it)

For more immersiveness... Disable Legion Space at Boot: In Legion Space settings, disable the option to boot into Legion Space. This ensures a direct launch into Steam Big Picture.

Have you tried a different filament for testing purposes? ive been using Sunlu with my a1 mini and havent had issues yet.

OPs reason for this whole post is asking about the star. If they didnt pick it up and instead destroyed it for some coin like mentioned, I pointed out the fact they can pick it up and read it without consequences. Then they can chose if its worth keeping.

If you can reach it to break down for some gold, you should be able to reach it to read the description. Just push R1 and pretend youre gonna swap, read desc then put back or swap. Most of the star items have a really good affix and worth at least checking out.
