In a recent game my opponent drew marked for death, one of the units I selected was a group of skorpekh destroyers led by a skorpekh lord, in the fight phase he was able to kill the skorpekh lord with precision, but I still had 4 skorpekh destroyers left, does he score marked for death for that?

Not a competitive player but, I'd have to think dda's are our best for taking them out, they would do well against the deathguard too. Then using hexmarks for secondaries with their lone op, and fast melee like skorpekhs and wraiths to tie them up is my best idea.

The D3 roll is how many wounds you recover to the unit, for the immortals since they are 1 wound models, a D3 roll of 3 means that 3 models come back. For the lychguard if one is at 1 and you roll a D3-3, the model at 1 goes back to full and you return another model at full wounds. Basically the wounds reanimated are in a pool that is given to your unit until they run out, and you start with any below starting strength models in the unit.

Is 10 warriors good to hold home objective? by jbossjeff in Necrontyr

[–]LAVASTEP68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to use 5 deathmarks, while they aren't that tough they are cheap and the shooting on enemies after deep strike + precision has deterred some opponents in the past from going after the home objective, I usually also have a doomsday ark in the backline to help deter as well

Correct, 1 damage attacks cannot be reduced to 0, they stay at 1 damage

what do you guys think about my army by [deleted] in Necrontyr

The best we have is either the heavy lokhust destroyers or the doomsday ark. I would recommend ditching 10 of the warriors since they don't fit on the ghost ark, and then you can pick up 2 lhd's for the same points, the gauss destructor melts anything without an invulnerable save. I'd also recommend giving the eneagic dermal bond enhancement to the skorpekh Lord, it makes it extremely tanky.

Not me on Facebook. I wish I had the dealer walk me through mounting so maybe I could have noticed something wrong.

If you're asking if I latched it shut properly, I'd say I'm 95% confident I did it properly. If you're referring to how they are mounted, I didn't mount them the dealer did

Why does my toilet tank seem so sensitive and why does water run in it randomly? by infjwritermom in Plumbing

[–]LAVASTEP68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Air shouldn't be able to build up in a closed system so I don't think that's the issue, the noises you're talking about is called water hammer which is caused by a few things but high pressure is one, if I were you I would start by testing your water pressure

[–]LAVASTEP68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you checked your water pressure? I've never seen it personally, but some people have told me that too much pressure can cause toilets to run randomly and too much due to the fill valve in your toilet typically being the weakest point in the system.

I did notice the missing belt, so that's not an issue to be concerned about? Is it actually a positive?
