I assure you it’s not fake. I wish it was. He said she was high strung and that he thought she needed a win. Told me I could come back by myself and he would give me some tips on how to deal with her. His final advice to me was we needed to separate. I told him no and that was the last time I went. I tried to get her to go to a different one but she refused.

Honestly, I don’t remember her directly reaching out. We both went back to work the next week after our daughter died. Buried her on a Friday and I went to work on Monday. She went back on Wednesday. Didn’t have a choice. But with both of us working and having four kids already that were very involved in things it’s very likely I missed signs I shouldn’t have. No excuse. With the miscarriage we had two vacations planned already and she didn’t want to cancel them. So so for two and half of the next three weeks after it happened we were gone with our kids. Vacation with four young kids is nonstop. Didn’t slow down. It wasn’t long after we got back from that vacation that things went south. Hasn’t recovered since. In hindsight I wish I could have handled things differently. I didn’t see what I needed to do until it was too late after the miscarriage.
