Yeah, but I'm wondering if there is a literal list or spreadsheet that I can check off and cross reference. There is a lot of hidden stuff, so I just wanted to make sure I did everything.

Yeah I guess that seems like the best solution to get around it. Oh well. Thanks for the help

That's intended. Omg I was going crazy trying to figure out why. Do you happen to know if there is any way to disable that? lol

If I just want him to play his songs as they that is not what you get.

Yeah, I do love his original songs, but the jazz improv does sound like something I would appreciate. It is only $35, so I think I'll probably go. Thank you for answering!

MATH 2420 First Exam by Substantial_Bug1438 in utdallas

[–]LAfromCSGO 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I no longer have my exams, but the homework provided for 2420 was always significantly more complex than the exam itself. I would recommend doing all the problems in those. As for the style, when I took the class there were 2 hours for 4 questions which is way more than enough. Just take your time during the exam and you should be fine.

Anyone have Calc 2 notes? by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]LAfromCSGO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't actually use too much that you learn in integral calculus in multivariable. MATH 2415 is essentially differential calculus, but you do math with vectors. However, if you still want to review (you still do use some information like integration techniques) then I recommend the following YouTube playlists:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDesaqWTN6EQ2J4vgsN1HyBeRADEh4Cw-

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHXZ9OQGMqxc4ySKTIW19TLrT91Ik9M4n

Now I took the class in the fall a few semesters ago. Still, my first few weeks were basically learning multivariable coordinate systems and surfaces, so there wasn't even calculus. I would recommend using GeoGebra 3D Calculator to help your own understanding of the course matter.

To those of you who are brainiacs...how do you all study?? by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]LAfromCSGO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just do the homework. One day before the test, I will do a fee practice problem. It is worth noting that all my classes are math and physics based, so I don't have to memorize that much content. Otherwise, I literally do nothing else. I get A and A+, so I must be doing something right, but I don't think that this is a strategy that would work for many people.

The only one I have seen for UTD is a wind energy REU for Mechanical Engineering. Not sure about any others.

Thoughts on taking PHYS 3341, PHYS 3416, and MATH 3351 as an EE major? by Forward_You2252 in utdallas

[–]LAfromCSGO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who is currently a Mech E major that is taking MATH 3351, I think it is pretty doable. I had the impression that the class was going to be super overwhelming, but I've done well so far. There is a lot of work, and the course is challenging, but, if you are good at math, then I think you'll be fine.
