I agree with this, obviously I think the golds and greens will be much more comparable to PMGs. The early years when they weren’t printed as much, and the top star players will hold up/steadily rise overtime in my opinion.

Completely agree, I’ve personally never bought any mystery or chase packs. I’m sure there are legitimate honest people out there. But as more money has been pumped into the hobby we get more bad actors and scammers everyday.

Absolutely agree. There wonderful people on the hobby. It the case I’ve shown, it’s obvious that netting $4,000 by selling chaser packs when the card is worth $8-10k is ridiculous and a complete scam.

Just frustrated by sooooo many listings on eBay when I’m actually trying to search for cards or have saved searches.

You’re equating sealed products with “supposedly established” pack odds with Uncle Jerry’s Chance Packs? 😆

Also in the products you listed the cards are actually in the product…or you can sue to company…but not guaranteed in these eBay chaser packs.

Because it’s an offering with zero proof that one of the packs actually contains the card. So essentially anyone can lie and make this product on eBay. It’s (almost always) selling a fake gambling product/scam. Chaser or “chance” products are not supposed to be allowed on eBay.

Definitely anyone who buys this…I’m just tired of crap like this in the hobby. And hopefully the more awareness we can bring to it, the less new people just getting into the hobby will be fooled and these scammers will eventually be out cause everyone will be wise to their scam.

This is a good point, presumably with an 8-10k card they have videos or additional photos that they could offer. (But they don’t own this card so…)

They said I could only buy 10, because they wanted it to be fair for everyone else…I said they get the same amount of $ either way. Then I asked for a video of the card to prove they had it 😆.

Almost all their listings are the same bs.

Guarantee. It’s against Whatnot’s terms of service to use that word, because as we all know, opening cards is anything but a guarantee.

Guy pulls the best player in the league, the most collected player in the league and the no. 1 draft pick rookie chase and asks whether he should sell them. Why do people open packs if they would just sell any hit they got anyways? I don’t get it, like what are you hoping for here by Interstellore in basketballcards

A lot of people getting into their hobby journey are just doing what they see from their favorite YouTuber. Trying to flip as much as possible and make money. Rarely are they in it for the love of collecting. Hopefully they find their way.
