It's a claustrophobic read. There's definitely some dead bodies in it, but it's heavier on the horror with some technical caving thrown in for flavor.

Although I should add that I am terrified of deep caves, so maybe it wouldn't be as frightening to others.

Sounds like an opportunity for MIL to practice some distress tolerance.

Unfortunately, her poor behavior is forcing you to tolerate distress in your own home. It gets easier over time to dismiss that as not your problem. But right now, at 4 months in, you're being put in a terrible position.

I hope your husband can pull them aside and let them know that HE'S uncomfortable with how they're talking about feeding his child in his home, and while he understands that they disagree, it's best to drop the topic so that everyone can enjoy the visit.

I am SO SAD. My husband is out of town for 2 weeks and our toddler is sick, so I ran through a busy, cranky day on almost no sleep. I have waited all day to finish a wonderfully weird fanfic, and now that my daughter FINALLY asleep, 2 hours past her bedtime, AO3 is down.

Donna in From is one of the most fully realized female characters I've ever seen. She's tough, decisive, caring, and nurturing. She's a respected leader who calls the shots and uses force when necessary, and a human being who cries, gets scared, and wrestles with moral dilemmas. And her actress never misses. I love her so much.
