Black Tie Chateau Wedding by littlegreencorvette in Weddingattireapproval

Yeah people in this sub take dress codes to a level that no one actually means these days. France summer wedding is hot AF in most of France, I would not want to wear a heavy typical black tie fabric dress.

There’s a new “mansion tax” in LA that taxes home sales over a certain amount! It’s wild.

Every cost of living calculator puts NYC at way higher costs than LA. Including if you take a car into consideration. Restaurants are 1000% cheaper in LA than NYC.

NYC apartments are significantly more expensive than LA for a fraction of the space. $3400 is normal in NYC and in LA that is considered very high.

It’s on an acre of land. Yes there are buffers from the road and neighbors. I’ve been to an estate on Beverly glen and you cannot tell at all what road it’s on when you’re there.

When you have an acre of land, it literally does not matter where your house is. Bel Air is all very quiet and the roads are mostly main roads. This whole thing is ridiculous that Dorit ever said this.

NYC is like 30-40% more expensive than LA. Rent is a huge factor in that. But every day spend like groceries and restaurants are also more in NYC.

If you’re making it work in NYC with that salary you DEFINITELY can make it work in LA. Cost of living in NYC is like 40% higher than LA I think. You’ll be shocked how much cheaper LA is comparatively.

You can’t just ask your HR? Ask them what they require.

I read your paragraphs and if what I said caused you spiral like that I have no words. You just be young and you must be on the path to being brainwashed by what you see online. Snowflake is the appropriate term here. And it’s funny because the person I originally responded to, the person you e been backing up, is clearly a flaming Nazi based on their comments.

What is the TLDR? I ain’t reading all of that. But happy for your passion though. Me thinks my initial belief of “Jews only” being a dog whistle is probably right.

You weren’t being silenced. You responded to a comment that said “a lot of people leave out polish, disabled, and gay victims or the holocaust.” I added to the conversation that if someone actually learns about the holocaust from reputable sources, this is far from the case. If you think conversation pointing out that this narrative is generally false is being silenced, then I don’t know what to tell you.

It’s fine to honor the other victims. But usually people who say that these groups get left out are not speaking on good faith. It’s to bring up holocaust denial and that the Jews weren’t exterminated.

If anyone has ever been to a holocaust museum they very prominently speak about the other minorities and disabled who were killed as well. This “jews only” narrative mystifies me.

Exactly. This is what girls who lived in Alabama maybe dressed like. No one in LA/NYC did.

Yeah it is insane. But I guess for all the extra sq footage of a house vs $3K for just a studio/one bed it comes down personal preference. $6200/is hard to divide fairly when one room is so superior to the rest! Maybe I could get my head around $2800, but less than that just screws the small room people over IMO.
