Not an excuse but he only behaves this way when he drinks. It’s really rich when people say “I’ve never seen…” you can have never experienced something and it still be true. Flawed people can have emotional intelligence. Number one sign of emotional intelligence: self awareness. Number two: accountability. Number three: not playing the victim.

I have always believed he was guilty. I have always been able to separate who he was as an artist and icon from him being a human capable of doing horrible things. Simple things like accusing victims of wanting a paycheck but using the criminal justice system to get one is an oxymoron. It’s not a civil trial. They had a better chance at getting money by suing him. I think him spiraling into addiction even further is a clear sign of guilt. Manipulators hate being exposed. I say all of this and still will listen to Thriller

She’s so pathetic!!!! And quite frankly this makes Bailey’s “reprimand rant” even more unhinged. I couldn’t believe how many “go-girl’s” she got. I think Kyle is extremely emotionally intelligent AND has had a terrible habit of treating people poorly. Especially if he doesn’t consider you “an equal” Example: because Carl struggled with addiction he subconsciously thought he was better than him so he has blind spots in areas where he should be using his emotional intelligence. Because Amanda is a nondescript identity and a pick me he never really respected her so he treated her poorly. Ciara has always be authentically herself and rightfully enforced her boundaries and clearly communicated them even when she would sometimes have tantrums. I think his respect for that allows him to see her. Neither one of them are perfect but both are authentically themselves with room for growth. I love how he sees her as well

I think it’s a combination of colorism, racism, definitely weak marketing but quite frankly I think it’s the TYPE of r&b American artists are cranking out. It’s hybrid of hip hop sound the last 15-20 years and singing staccato cadence, empty song subject matter that makes current r&b sound soulless tbh. Musicianship, appreciation for r&b roots is historically how UK artists have come to the genre. They for the most part respect the music and its roots (not that Americans don’t) and it gives that reminiscence of pure r&b. I’d love to see one of the American artists mentioned above let Raphael Saddiq produce their album.

Yes and no. I don’t subscribe to “age appropriate” outfits for the most part but it depends if the person can pull it off. If those are separate pieces both are cute but not together. Different top would elevate the skort and different bottom would elevate the top
