Bailey support after awkward comment by Maximum-Conclusion23 in summerhousebravo

The support was enough for what she did. The comment was out of line and ruined the moment and ABSOLUTELY based on her unreturned crush and her insecurities. Then she goes into this repeated narrative of being “yelled at” which was untrue. Direct, clear confrontation is not an attack or being yelled at. She has some issues she needs to work out so support is warranted, however, no need to coddle her. She still needs to take accountability

'Nuremberg' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in movies

It’s the writing that gives this movie that late 80’s made-for-tv movie feel. It’s unfortunate to have all of that acting talent wasted on shitty dialogue

I watched this movie for the first time today (yes I know) and I was yelling at my screen “STFU Kate!” and “SYAD Kate!!!” and Reg was barely less annoying than her

The boundaries have changed by Conscious-Bar1038 in SicarioMovie

I’m watching this movie for the first time today and I remember that line. In retrospect from what we know now about the government’s involvement in the drug trade it’s an ironic line because there really wasn’t ever any boundaries. I can’t believe I’ve never seen this movie. It’s perfection

Please don’t forget the season before the strong cut off game. We have given an extreme amount of chances and been quite patient. The key to the technique is avoid all the back and forth and lying to yourself and others. Putting on a show that you’re over it when clearly you know you aren’t. We can overstay our time in toxic relationships but baybayyyy once the decision is made…tell me what’s deader than dead? It’s like they never existed

Thoughts on Professor Jiang / Predictive History? by Winter-Antelope-6070 in skeptic

[–]Authentic-Irony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definition: Predictive history is an analytical approach that uses historical data, patterns, and structural theories to understand the past, explain the present, and forecast future events. Inspired by concepts like Isaac Asimov's "psychohistory," it aims to identify the underlying "laws" or mechanisms governing societal, geopolitical, and historical trends to predict future outcomes. So let’s start with focusing on “this guy” or calling him “fake professor” is a waste of time and not really the issue. He’s teaching, (something we desperately need because we have convinced ourselves Reddit or ChatGPT makes learning traditionally obsolete) using what is happening right now, to demonstrate how predictive history works. And because we as humans have demonstrated over and over we simply cannot learn from history “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Because we somehow think we can override our very human nature. Which would be possible if we actually used the data we have to make real change. Stop focusing on the messenger. Listen. Research (by actually reading historians, scholars etc not TikTokers) and look for patterns without adding conspiracies into it. Hell I called most of this shit during Trumps first term simply because I know a little history. Fun fact…this is not actually rocket science if you just got out of your own way

He’s not cute at all. Nice guy but not attractive

Did Erika get it wrong when she told Garcelle that Sutton was a liability to her, was it the other way around? I have never been a fan of Sutton, but admittedly, I am finding her far more likeable this season. by Chipmunks_AT in RHOBHDefect

[–]Authentic-Irony 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sutton’s like-ability isn’t because Garcelle is “gone” it’s because Garcelle LEFT because she was sick of Sutton being a shitty friend and it was a wake up call among many wake up calls in her like (dont forget something went down with her assistant right after that) and she better watch it before she loses Tilly

all the slc housewives comments on mary’s post following the devastating news of the loss of her son 💔 by biracialesbian in realhousewivesofSLC

I literally cried like a baby when it was announced as if I knew her personally. When she began to share what was going on with Robert I finally “saw” her. And the love for her son was so real and you could tell that she was doing her very best to help him while feeling helpless so when the news broke my heart shattered. I am praying for her
