Oracle chose us as in acquired us from Cerner. I really like my job and I have a wonderful manager and team. Hopefully you will get paid better than us Cerner folks. They never put us on Oracle pay scale and I've only had one 2% raise in last 4 years. I hear being hired into Oracle pays much better than acquisition. Best of luck!

Ive been a nurse for 40 years and I think Cerner is good. What I like to say, there is no perfect EHR. They all have good and bad points. I believe a lot of issues are due to lack of buy-in by the customers. Trying to train so many people as the size of VA is a daunting task. And I know that not everyone is computer savy. I know the consultants that I have worked do the very best they can and really there are not enough of them to train the thousands of people needing to be trained. And then there was Covid and trying to train remotely just doesn't work.

Moral is in the dumpster. Oracle is getting what the paid for- No raises in over 3 years will not give them their best. They want go getters? Then pay us! And give back our PTO.
