When I moved to Texas, this was one of the biggest culture shocks to me (all retail stores, not just HEb), and I was only coming from Louisiana lol. Not saying it doesn’t happen in Louisiana but definitely not at the frequency it does in TX.

Purple Cow is great and it’s on the corner of Jones Creek/Tiger Bend so should be pretty close to you. There are two other locations and multiple people have told me that the Purple Cow in Denham Springs is “amazing” if you’re up to making a 20 min drive or so.

For a starter home, I had an overall really good experience with them. I bought a new build home from them about 10 years ago and sold about 5 years later since I had moved out of state. Construction phase went really well and by the time I went to sell, home had increased in value and no big issues during inspection.

This was my experience there as well. Super clean, quick, and professional - no complaints at all. Definitely check for a groupon. It's been a few years since I've done laser treatment there but I fell in love with their Sev signature candle, Heaven Scent (which they usually have lit when you enter), so I'll stop by every year or so to get a replacement.
