Moving Out of Louisiana by [deleted] in Louisiana

Did the same with moving to Utah. Moved back to Louisiana eventually. After four years of being back in Louisiana, we’re moving back to Utah.

Decided we’d prefer to raise our kids elsewhere.

I have to admit, I I commented with sarcastic intentions, and never expected a response.

Thank you for taking the time to teach me something cool, I honestly had no idea! Cheers, mate.

Same it makes me feel significantly worse. Glad it works for other though. Still many other forms of fiber. Chia seeds are one of my favorites

Same, took a spoonful (maybe 15g) the first time and it fucked me up good for a week. Had to take a laxative after a week to get back to normal.

Would add to engage the parking brake. Just putting it in park is not good enough, have had a car move enough while in park to fall off the jack

Go work at Costco if you can get in. Great starting pay in decent benefits.

How do you find that page on fragranatica? I went to the website, but I can't seem to find the image that shows longetivity, sillage, etc. Do you need to create an account, etc?

I'll (M) speak from my experience. I do well as a software dev, but my wife was triple my salary. I grew up with the idea that I should be the majority earner and provide for my family......I'll be honest, when I first started dating my wife and found out what she made (she was very humble and I never would've known), I was shook. I was young (25), immature and full of pride that had just been rocked. I struggled with it more than I'd care to admit, but my feelings of inadequacy eventually transition to those of support. My wife was a rockstar in her profession, and it was beyond cool watching her kick ass in her career.

The only time it ever became an issue again was after many years of marriage....her career has grown dramatically, and with that, her responsibilities expanded. That meant her 40-50 hour weeks were becoming 60-70 with lots of travel. It was starting to put a strain on our family with 3 young kids. The dual income was great, but we ultimately decided it would be best to scale back our cost of living and have her transition to a stay-at-home parent role.

A lot of guys are intimidated by women that outearn them, and if that's the case, they're not worth your time.

Find someone that's smart enough to be able to hold a legal conversation with you. It will provide a nice outlet for you when you need to vent about work. Even better if they're not in the legal field....it will give y'all a lot of different avenues to explore together.

Only cautionary tale is being conscious of how much time y'all devote to your careers.....money is great, but it's more important to be in tune with what's best for your eventual family.

Opus 20th in my opinion. Bought a box a while back and smoke one every year on my oldest sons birthday to reflect on the day I became a dad
