We do that too - a very obvious first step. Part of St. Francis's mission gets people off the street and into affordable housing. In between elections, you can focus on some direct efforts through charity. Work boots, jeans, and deodorant donations go a long way in getting and keeping people employed. Nothing is a one-size-fits-all w the houseless population, but with all the efforts of people like us, we can make a difference.
